Did anyone see this last night? We looked for ages and only saw ONE moving slowly. I thought there were going to be hundreds.

Gonna have another look tonight but not sure what direction. Last night was East. Anyone know which way to look tonight. Sad I know but I love the stars at night.

PS got really excited when I thought I saw a large one - it was a helicopter LOL
We had it in Jersey Gina., not that I saw it, but the lady that runs my stables, heard one of the horses fidgeting and thought he might have collic. Went outside and she said it was like a load of shooting stars....wonderful...
Not sure what time that was though..

Oh brilliant wish I had seen it. Too cloudy tonight for any stars worse luck

Hubby and I went out for a look, lay on the path and got cold and stiff, saw about 6 shooting stars (mainly in the north), hardly a shower though! This was at about 10.20pm.
btw, hate to disappoint, but the 'slow moving ones' aren't shooting stars...They're satellites! :D

Ditto with the three and the stiff neck! I was surprised the ones I saw went in different directions. They were easier to see than I expected being quite bright streaks.

Gina, are you sure it wasn't just the effect of the wine that made you fall over sideways?!
