are there any important supplements necessary? I mean Iam now feeding my dog meat&bones,3% bodyweight. I sometimes give my dog SA37 POWDER but I am not sure whether the diet balance?  appreciating on any advice.

Hi,

The whole point of the BARF diet is that you are aiming for a balance in diet over time.

If you are feeding a good variety over a period of time then there is no need to supplement.

Have you bought any books on the subject as they can be very helpful. I made a few mistakes when I first started and also found that what suited one of my dogs didn't necessarily suit the other.

I'm a BARF-er and I give my Salmon Oil when they are blowing their coat otherwise no.

HI Huskypup, my boy is now hair shedding my friend told me he was changing his babycoat, I 'll try Salmon Oil , thx a lot. 

Ah, the first cast of their coat is the worst I've found, you do wonder where on earth all this fur is coming from and it's such a shame 'cos it's just so soft, almost like cashmere. 

I must add that I did always give my two supplements when they were pups to 18 months old (longer for Misty 'cos she's the eldest and I could give Foxy with her too), I gave them Salmon Oil, Vit E, kelp and Vit C every day.  During the summer months I always give them garlic - it keeps the ticks and fleas away.
