Tonight we had to let our little Treacle go. She gave us so much in her short life. Our "Invisible" dog...never a nusance..never a problem..quiet and loving..everyones favourite..a cuddle lover and a belly rub addict. Sleep well my darling girlie. Mummy and Daddy will miss you so very much. We are so very sorry we could not help you any more. Fell asleep in our arms under the tree in the sunshine. The hole you have left in our lives will never be filled.
RIP my darling.

Oh Aileen, I am so sorry to read this post. So glad she went peacefully with you by her side. You're right though, the hole is never filled.
The reason a dog has so many friends is that he wags his tail instead of his tongue.
