I posted not long ago about an unbranded 'premium salmon and potato' food in JTF. I have bought a bag to take a look at the ingredients and this is what it states:

Ingredients : Fresh Salmon (min 26%), Potato (min 26%), Oats, maize, salmon meal, beet pulp, refined poultry fat, salmon oil, minerals, vitamins.

Typical Analysis:
Protein        21%
Oil               10%
Fibre            3.5%
Ash              6%
Vit A             10,000 iu/Kg
Vit D             1,500 iu/Kg
Vit E              80 iu/Kg (as alpha tocopherol)
Copper          16 mg/Kg (as copper sulphate)

Does this sound any good? I have spoke with JTF this morning to try and find out where it comes from and await there reply. The label says Food 4 pets and manufactured and packed in the UK but no contact details. I have googled food 4 pets but nothing comes up.

I know that a localish pet shop to me has his 'own brand' foods but they are manufactured by Chudleys if I remember rightly.

I've had the call back from JTF and the food comes from Golden Acres pet food www.goldenacres.co.uk . I have spoke to them and they say that its an 'own brand food' made by them - they also make for wafcol and other companies.
