Poppy has had a gammy eye - took her to vets who suspected some kind of trauma to it, she's had an antibiotic injection and been given drops and we've to take her back tomorrow.

but where he did the injection it bled LOADS after and is now a very hard lump the size of a golf ball.  Whats that all about then?  Should I be doing something?  is this normal?

Sounds like a haematoma (like a blood blister) wouldn't worry too much. Should eventually go down on its own.
