Hi All,
My wee pup has been a bit sick today and yesterday. Yesterday he run about fine although sickish. Today I thought his wee nose etc was hot so kept him curled into me all day. He has not eaten a thing and his nose is not as hot tonight but I know he is poorly if he is not better in the morning he will be off to the vet.
I am just off to bed and he is coming into bed with me tonight I am worried sick..silly I know but they are like my children. Just like most of yours.
I 'll let you know how he is tomorrow. I will take him with me to work and go to the vet form there depending how he is.
Fingers crossed he picks up . He is 7 months old.

Nicky
Hi all, when I got up this morning and let the two of them out I saw a pile of sick again and I Knew the youngest one could not have beent hat sick as he hadn't eaten for nearly 2 days then I saw my bitch behind the push pucking her guts out,.. I was closed to tears.
I have starved both of them and am taking both to the vet in 10 mins. I called my vet first thing and he said wait till tonight.
I was a bit relieved although don't know if I should be the pair of them are sick as I thought if it is the pair of them it can't be hopefully anything too serious. Well fingers crossed..
There are like our babies..
TLet you all know how I get on..

I wonder if there is some bug going around?
Hope there's some improvement and good news Pam
Hi ,
I am just back.. The pair of them showed me up by kissing and licking the vet..
He thinks it is just gastro or dietary he doesn't think they are ill, ill but if they are still sick tomorrow night I have just to go back. They are not too well though I can tell but I have just walked the round the block for 10 mins so they get a least some fresh air. I will keep them off food again tonight but don't like to stave the youngest one too long as he is only 7 months.
The vet said it could be puddles, dodgy food all the usually stuff. They have a slight increase in temperature but he was not seriously concerned.
He is quite happy with their diet so said to just starve them for another day.. poor souls.
It is worrying and the worst things always jump into your head.
Thansk for all the concern fingers crossed they woll be little sh--s tomorrow again.

Pam, funny your pup is not too well, Cookie has had a dose of "the runs" wonder if its the dog food? they are on much the same diet, I starved him for a day, then just gave him a little food yesterday, still a touch of the runs but not as bad, today a bit better, only giving him two very small meals just to see if that helps, mind you the weather just might have something to do with it, been really hot then pouring with rain then hot again, but they have been drinking plenty of water. Luckily he has not been sick. Is your Gran looking forward to getting her puppy, won't be long now, next week!!! then trouble I will have two puppies, of different ages, I must be mad. Look forward to seeing you at SKC.
When my boy suffered gastro enteritis a couple of weeks ago he was so sick that he didn't even need to retch to be sick he just opened his mouth and out it came

He was absolutely fine the day before, it just all appeared out of nowhere. Hope the babies are soon feeling better Pam and Irene.
BTW I'll try to get to see you at SKC as I'll be there on both days (showing on Saturday morning then helping out in Awards Saturday PM and all day Sunday), haven't seen you in ages Irene and never met you yet Pam

Hi Irene,
The vet thought it would be more likely the puddles LOL wee buggars..Holly has only been a bit sick but she is OK with it but wee Bobs is awfully sad looking I will take him to bed with me again tonight and take him to work with me. ( Should have seen my bosses today LOL).
I use the AMP stuff only once or twice a week as I tend to used chicken wings , liver and real tripe most of the time but it is hard to say what causes it I know of a few sick dogs this week.
Holly is going to come into season I think her coat is looking a bit strange LOL oh just in time for SKC and I have only got one of Bobbys ear done..LOl ROFLOL..I must be mad.
PYou may not have spoken to Jean but my gran is not getting the pup anymore as her husband has become very ill he has had to get part of his throat removed and is going to have to be fed througha tube in his tummy so I feel it is too much for them so I have spoken to Jean about it. My gran still wants it but It is not fair on them or a pup and I can't take on another pup just now my 2 are still so young. It is hard enought stripping 2 dogs.
Hopefully my 2 will be OK at the weekend but if they are not I won't show them.
Catch you later..
Pam
Hi all again,
Just a quick up date , my 2 had to go to vets again as still a bit unwell they have now had antibiotic injections and are getting antibiotics at home.
A freind of mine pointed out that she has noticed more sick puppies since the water scare.
May or may not be but neither of mine have ever been ill.
SO boiled or bottled water form now on in case for me..

Sorry to hear your granpa is ill Pam, I think they are wise not to take the puppy it would be too much for your gran to cope with, I've been wondering if my Cookie picked anything up from the beach as I had been at the caravan over the week-end and they had some lovely runs along the grass and sand, really enjoyed themselves, I've been trying to strip out Cookies coat for SKC, but I think I will need to give him a bit of a wash with my special White soap, it really does clean the coat, will do it tonight so the coat will harden up again for Sat. Look forward to seeing you, and you as well Claire, long time no see. Pam their were only 2 MP dogs entered at the Ch show last weekend and 3 the ch show the weekend before that one, wait till you see there will be at least 6 when we go, thats our luck !!!! LOL there were 12 mpb last week, what chance do we have up against the "big names" LOL well its only for fun, but, I would like to go to Crufts again as I enjoyed it.
Hi Irene, What is your special soap,
<y Sealyham freind is a grromer also and told me to get white lightening shampoo and gel so I ordered it.
£30 including P&P so it better be good. If it works I will let you know as my pair are black. I wanted to wash them tonight but the stuff didn't come and I didn't want to wait till tomorrow.
They are a little better tonight , We feed them some chicken and they have kept it down so far..40 mins so fingers crossed. 5 days is a long time for a pup.
Holly is going to come in season soon I htink but didn't expect it for 4 weeks but she is doing the humping thing on Bobby LOL he is running for his life..
Are you nervous as first champ show for a while.. I feel sick LOL Bobby is not had enough of the belt yet ( Kidding)he does his own thing..LOL
Pam
