my puppie is about two months and a half. Latley she has been sleeping a lot more and doesn't have much appetite she also has been throwing up and with diarrhea. We took her to the vet the doctor said she has parvo virious and that she might die in a couple of days in not treated. He gave her like about five shots and said to keep her in a warm place and clean! To give her only pedialyte and honey no food or water.
I hope this information helps you vikki. Hope your dog gets better!

sorry to hear about your puppy, I have heard that honey should not be given to pups, although I did with my dogs with no harm done before hearing about it, but you need to check that out again with your vet.

hi i am sorry you are having to go through this it is a very worrying time, i have nursed a dog through parvo with the help of my vet to start with but decided to bring her home on a drip as they did not think she would make it through the night, i am very glad to say that she is still here with me now and if you want any help or advice about how i managed please feel free to pm me, but please vet help and med are a must.

good luck XXXXXX

I have a thread on here that I wrote about my puppy Fudge, he contracted parvo when he was about 9 weeks old, after a nine day stay in hospital he recovered. I truly wish you all the best, and hope it's a positive outcome.
