IM WANTING TO RE HOME A SMALL DOG FROMA  RESCUE CENTRE  OR PRIVATE HOME, SUCH AS A WESTIE ETC, I HAVE A 5YR OLD BOY,IM BASED IN LEEDS, AS YET TO FIND A SUITABLE DOG IF ANYONE CAN ASSIST, IM WILLING TO TRAVEL. MJUST BE GOOD WITH CHILDREN , HOUSE TRAINED PREFFERED AND ALSO ABLE TO BE LEFT THE ODD HOUR OR SO WITH OUT BARKING. WE HAVE HAD a WESTIE FROM THE WESTIE RE HOMING SCHEME BUT FROM DAY ONE HE GROWLED AT MY CHILD SO AFTER 3 MONTHS OR TRAINING HIM TO NO AVAIL AT GREAT COST HE HAS BEEN RE HOMED AGAIN BY THE WESTIE SCHEME TO A MATURE COUPLE,SO MY LIFE FEELS VOID WITH OUT A DOGGIE TO WALK .

THANKS IVE TRIED DOGS TRUST, THEYRE USELESS NR ME  AND PRETTY UN HEELPFUL, ALL CHILDREN HAVE TO BE 12 YR OLD WHEN I HAVE BEEN EVEN THOUGH MY SONS DOESNT TEASE OR DISRESPECT  DOGS. I ALSO NEED SUGGESTIONS ON A SMALL DOG, IM BEGGINING TO THINK WESTIES GENERALLY DISLIKE KIDS, SO CAN ANYONE SUGGEST ANOTHER SMALL DOG.

hi a few of my friends have had westies that can be a bit touchy not saying that they all like that
what about a bichon frise and they dont lose any hair either,
or a small cross breed you cant do wrong with cross but make sure its a pup so you can train it your way.
