Our hand reared puppy is five weeks old now. He is on Royal Canin made to a porridge like consistency and loves it. We are feeding him four times a day. Does he need his milk as well as this? Also he does not drink much water would he be getting enough from the water we put onto his dry food for now untill he can lap it up properly?

I would start reducing his milk slowly over the next two weeks so he is completely of it by 7 weeks.
