Someone on a raw feeding list I'm on has just tried her dogs with hare and they refused it. Am I right in thinking that if we prefer it hung for a while the dogs may well be the same :-D

We know that dogs love rotting carrion, which is what hung game is.

Mine caught a hare once and ate it as soon as they got home.  It probably depends on the dog...

Mine have caught and eaten hare instantly (pre ban of course). They also had whole, gutted, frozen while fresh and then defrosted hare too and ate it. I dare say they would eat it rank and smelly too so I'm not sure :-)
