Louis My beautiful frenchie boy. RIP my darling. We are lost without you - you were our whole life. We don't know how to be without you, you filled our lives, our every waking moment, everything we did was with you in mind. Never for one moment did we think this would happen. Please, our Louis Bear, please wait for us. We will never forget you, we will never stop loving you - you were everthing to us and this hurts so much. Be happy my baby, one day we will be a family again. xxx

To my dearest family,
some things I'd like to say.
But first of all, to let you know,
that I arrived okay.

I'm writing this from the Bridge.
Here I dwell with God above.
Here there's no more tears of sadness.
Here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy
just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I am with you
every morning, noon and night.

That day I had to leave you
when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me
and He said, "I welcome you.

It's good to have you back again,
you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family,
They'll be here later on."

God gave me a list of things,
that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list,
was to watch and care for you.

And when you lie in bed at night
the day's chores put to flight,
God and I are closest to you...
in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth,
and all those loving years,
because you are only human,
they are bound to bring you tears.

But do not be afraid to cry:
it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers,
unless there were some rain.

I wish that I could tell you
all that God has planned.

you wouldn't understand.

Thank you all of you. We miss him so much. He really was our whole world, we just can't believe he is gone. He was booked for surgery to have a soft palate resection - he had bracycephalic syndrome - he didn't make it to surgey. He died of a heart attack just before they took him down - the stress of being there. He died without me, just my t-shirt for comfort. I wasn't there when he needed me - he must have been so scared. If only I could turn back time.
He was more than a dog - he was the child Kev and I didn't have. We gave him all the time, affection, love, we would have given a human child if we had had one. His welfare, his happiness came first in everything we did or planned. It is so empty so quite without him - the house is dead. We bought a pup 4 weeks ago, for him., So he could have doggie companionship, play and cuddles, not just from us. We gave him everything we could but he wasn't spoilt. He was the kindest, funniest, most loving, gentle little boy who made our lives complete.
Some of you may remember he broke his leg at 7 months and also developed epilepsy last year.  When we bought him he had severe colitis lasting months and then he developed a skin condition which cleared.  He was such a small pup with a funny shaped head! Maybe he was on borrowed time.

We ache so much for him and having Pierre doesn't seem to ease the pain. Maybe if we hadn't loved him so completely,hadn't made him so important in our lives the pain wouldn't be so deep. But I'm so glad we did, he deserved every bit of our love.
