Hi all

Our 13 week our BC is nearly housetrained but we have a few patches on carpet which I think I have got out but they eventually show up again. I have tried a few cleaners but nothing seems to shift them. Any ideas.

Thanks Linda

hi try a solution of biological washing powder or liquid that usually works for us . wooden floors a a godsend !,but you have to be quick with the mop !!!

My neighbour Anita , who has 2 GSDs has wooden flooring and wishes she had never changed from carpet. She says the dog hairs fly everwhere and get under everything , at least with carpet they stay where they fall and can be hoovered up :-)

Liz thank you, could I make this liquid up in an electric cleaner ,?
I would not change my floorboards in the kitchen and hall i just have to varnish them
every month, but they look great, but the lounge I wanted to keep with fitted carpet
so I am going to try your idea [cannot lose anything ]

Pat, I've never tied it in a machine --depends how big the stains are ,maybe just do a patch test first,

Yea will have a go if no good will take the carpet up not many stains anyway but I can see two.The large rugs go over the top ,I think I'm only looking for an excuse to have a new carpet or do the floorboards again but no harm in trying this method thanks again
