my girl is growing back her coat from moulting, i thourght it was a good idea to start the yumega, i know her adult coat is coming and her coat will always be getting better.
BUT it is teh best its ever been, and after baths her coat dries quicker.

has it been worth it with you?

no, my dogs coat looked awful after using it, really dry and no shine.

I saw no difference in my dogs coat either. We used a whole bottle over the time and nothing made any difference.
What did work for shine and a healthy coat was putting tins of sardines into his dinner as a topper.

yes good idea, when we had our chicken i gave raw eggs to my girl, one a week. her coat was really silky.

We was talking about this at training on Monday 3 people said they used it and it had no difference at all

I also tried it and it made no difference at all.

Didnt work my for my lot either.

Didn't do anything for mine either. I find the Groomers' Royal Jelly food supplement very effective though (and much cheaper).

I've been giving my two tinned sardines, 3 -4 times a week, I've really noticed a difference in their coats.  My black Lab's coat is like a mirror.

Probably works out quite cheap too. (Bit smelly though!)

I had one sibe on it and it didn't help, in fact her regrowth of coat seemed to take for ever

I put a few drops of olive oil in their dinners or cheap tins of sardines-supermarket own brands.

I feed raw lamb or tripe plus veg and all mine have healthy skin.

I think that you do not have to spend a fortune on dog foods-I am abit old school on the feeding front.

Chappie/tripe/lamb/chicken wings/left over human food/terrier meal/tins cheap supermarket food.

All seem healthy and content.

im see an improvement but, like i said she is only 16-17 months old and her adult coat is coming through. she is also in season.

i also dont spend loads on dog food, i spend £10 on a massive bag of WAGG that lasts me for ever (2.5-3 months). i just mix some tesco dog meat/pets at home/winalot/butchers, all in gravy.
alot of people in my breed use yumega, they say it has improved, but teh breed doesnt have a fully developed coat until it is about 4 so it could just be that.
i did find out that some bitches moult there coat and it goes very thin for a month or two. my flick hasnt done that yet. she has always kept quite a good coat.

the main reason for using it was because i felt that the food i was feeding her may be lacking some of eth good thats in eukanuba for example.

Put mine onto Yumega Plus and only after 2 days I noticed Safi wasn't scratching and biting at her feet, so keeping them on it at least till bottle used up. So far so good.

Gave mine away, waste of money(imo) I supplement with fish body oil every day and the dogs coats are thick and gleaming .

I give raw eggs to mine--I keep bantams and the eggs are just the right size. Both boys' coats are marvellous if I say so myself, but I am cutting back as I think that one boy may be developing a sensitivity (poos of a frequency and consistency that gives cause for concern rather alarm) so have reduced it to one raw egg a week.

exactally what i used to do before my chicken died. she was an old battery hen, every wednesday my girl got an egg as a treat, she had teh shell and everything.

but i had to look for something else after teh chicken died. and yumega seemed it, her coat is cofter and she retains her coat alot better than other bitches in the breed, so its working.

i will know soon, it works out that she would have been on it for around 8 weeks at richmond, i will see what people think then.

Why not buy eggs from the supermarket?

they are rubbish, the yolk is yellow, my chicken had bright orange yolks! and i didnt think it was worth the money. and i only buy eggs if im going to use them.

The yolk colour is determined by the food the chicken eats. It has no bearing on the nutritional value. You can get all sorts of eggs (battery, barn, free-range, organic etc) at the supermarket.

Well yes, so does everybody! Some people use them for their own eating, others use them for their dogs as well.

i bought my yumega a mounth ago and im still not half way down. an egg aweek, i would have spent just over a bottle of yumega by then.

my chicken was fed on grain, yes she would sratch around but that was it. and not only was her yolk better the white was better and teh shell and membrane.

in my eyes its like feeding reconstituted meat or real meat to my dog.

Chickens scratching around eat worms, insects, weeds, seeds, grass etc, all of which affect the colour of yolks.

We buy free-range eggs for £4 for a tray of 30. That's over 6 months of eggs if you only give one a week.

flicks coat has really improved. eggs are the best, i got the cheepest box i could (free range). it is most probably wishful thinking but my girls coat is much better. she is still on yumega. i think with out it she would suffer, seeing other bitches in the breed, they loose alot of their coat and it takes weeks to come back, but my flick doesnt loose her coat, may just be coicidence. or she is just lucky.

Bionic Biotic is great for coats,,especially if you have hair loss..

i have had a suden coat change, she feels amazing!!

Oooh, i was just about to try it on mine!  Gave my Spanish boy terrible squits & I only gave him 1/4 of the recommended dose

I tried it and got no real results.  Went bact to what I did with my old bitch, a sardine twice a week and the results were instant and amazing.  Plus I have a very happy little dog!  Own brand cheap small tin does two meals for my two dogs.  Thats 15p a week per dog, I'm willing to pay that for this coat!

I've found the same with everyone else that I've asked.  As it's only golden flax and starflower oil, it's easy to copy or even better at a fraction of the price.

I had mine on it but noticed no difference at all in their coats.
