Dont let your puppies drink fresh cows milk!!! Collustrome, the first milk after calf is born. We milk cattle and keep it for the calf. After the calf is fed and has had enough we put it out for the barn cats. My lil bitch got into it and drank her happy fill. She waddled by with a full round tummy and layed down to nap. Well no luck tonight! She is so hyper I could scream... litterally bouncing off the walls!!! eek And she has diarihea so bad... OMG you wouldnt beleive it! :P Just a warning to all... just in case ya know. Next time the cats dish is going up in the loft where only they can reach it!! :-) O Lordy what fun! :D

We always have a great vat of milk lying around for the hound pups, including colustrum milk......our pups thrive on it.

Your bitch though appears to have a milk intolerance judgeing by the itching problems you had, many dogs just cannot tolerate cows milk.
