I recently had to have my bitch spayed (she's one year old) because she fell pregnant somehow and the vet suggested having her spayed as she may not have survived giving birth,being so young, plus she is rather small for her breed.

Anyway, yesterday I noticed some dischage from her - it looks a little like blood, and was wondering if anyone knows what this could be? Its only a few little drips.

I was told by a friend that although she is no longer pregnant, she may still think she is, and maybe thats the reason for the discharge. I hope someone can help me, i dont want to leave it too long incase it is serious and she needs to see a vet.

Contact your vet. How long ago was she spayed? Did the vet give her and injection to stop her pregnancy? How old is she? But before you answer ring the vet and ask their opinion. Ja:)kie
