Tio found an old pair of my shoes the other day and OH and i stupidly let him play with them and he ate some. his tums been off since and i arranged for OH to take him to the vet tonight as he's had really runny poo's the last day or so (has passed some bits of shoe)

i am so angry and upset with OH though as he forgot to mention the shoe to the vet! he is annoyed at me being angry as he says he just made a mistake but i ran through the list of symptoms and concerns twice today with him. i am so bloody angry with him, how in the hell do you forget the cause of the problem!

i am pretty sure Tio is fine, he's fine in himself etc but i am not 100% hence the vet. now i'm £50 out of pocket and not at all reassured.

the vet had a feel of his stomach and its not sore but i am freaking out

hi, sorry yea defo a man thing, IMO if you want something doing just do it yourself, he wouldnt of owned up to the dog eating the show, i know that there must of been some circumstance were you couldnt of personally gone, but if my dogs need to go the vet i take them so i know whats going on - defo a man thing and i would be mad also

Although I totally understand your anger, have to agree it's a man thing!!!!  :-(

Years ago my (ex) husband had been up the garden with the dogs, while I was cleaning up the front room.

When I said that I didn't know it had started raining, the washing would have been dry by now, why didn't he bring it in - he said that he never noticed.

GRRRR!!!!!!  It was blowing hard, and as he walked back up the garden, I knew it would be difficult to miss those sheets blowing in the wind.
The hurrier I go - the behinder I get!

It's a man thing. I have to give my OH a list with symptoms etc when he takes the dog to the vets!

"It takes twice as long to do something when a man does it, because the woman usually has to go back and redo what the man hasnt done properly"

Hope Tio is ok, and that the rest of the shoe passes completely!
Sweet Mira, rest in peace.
