
Thanks for the warning! My gardener husband has pointed out that your dog would have to consume quite a considerable number for it have any significant effect (obviously depending on how small the dog is) - for example, if there was a huge heap of them in one spot and the dog hoovered up the lot, that could be a problem.
The odd one shouldn't be fatal, although obviously they are best not consumed at all!
I use slug pellets in my tiny garden, as the blighters are rife around here.....Nellie has been known to lick up pellets and weedkiller in her time, neither with any major effects, thank goodness.......crazy mutt
