The joy of owning Labradors is that everyone gives me the food that their fussier dogs wont eat.
This morning I have been left on the doorstep, a box of 5 - 6 rolls of Webbox Chubs!
Does anyone on here feed these things?
I usually add a bit of chicken or a bit of tinned Butchers just to make a tasty gravy for the dry food, but do you think these roll things are ok to use?

Hi my girl loves them I feed Arden Grange but just add about an inch or two of chubb for extra interest
her coats in good order but thats probably the AG poohs are fine as well but I do have to keep an eye on her weight she gets only about just over half the reccomended weight of AG or she just piles weight on .
Thanks for that, How long do you keep the Chubs for? Just read on the side of it to keep for 48hours in a fridge. I'm only going to give mine a small amount like you do, so just wondered what you did with the rest of it.

You need to throw it in the bin! I wouldn't actually feed it 48 hours after opening anyway. I was looking after a friends GSD and she had half of a whole one daily mixed in her dry feed. Not something I've fed to my Collies, but the GSD looked well on it.
The hurrier I go - the behinder I get!

Portion it up and freeze it - no need to waste any and freezing won't do it any harm.

I use these to stuff Kongs and then freeze and my dogs are fine with it

I mix all sorts of bits and pieces through it carrot, mashed banana, meat paste, peanut butter cottage cheese. I also have little ones that I stuff for the rats

Wow that takes me back, we used to feed it occasionally when we got our first dogs about 30 years ago:)
Don't think there's a great deal of goodness in them, but doubt they'll do any harm. Don't think you need to freeze them either, I seem to remember.
I've often look at the big plastic sausage and thought 'oooh no that must be bad stuff' but maybe it has it's uses and I might try some, after all it's got to be more tasty and interesting stuffed in a kong than my bl***y door frame in the dining room!!
