What is safe to give them?? A couple of mine are going but it is is hard for them to go and was wondering if I can give them anything?

depends how old sometimes just boiled /cooled water, constipation can be caused from lack of fluids.

A very young pup you can gently insert a thermometer with a bit of vaseline on that may get it going .
