Does anyone know where you can buy the sheepskin type material (synthetic or natural) that they use
for horses nosebands etc.

What about chamois leather, real or synthetic, from car sections in big supermarkets or Halfords, would that do the trick ?

When I wanted some I found a local saddlers they also made sheepskin saddle clothes and they gave me some even though I was will to pay, also anywhere that cleans horse blankets they sometimes have to repair them using the same or something similar.
Thanks for all the pointers my friend has ordered the fur fabric girth sleeve

Here's hoping it's the one to work for her as she was getting pretty despondant at finding anything to suit.

The power of champ dogs

In our market hall in the centre of Derby, there is a stall that specialises in leather & sheepskin, they always have sheepskin available.
