oh dear the poor darling!! if they are what the vet thinks then I would wait until they heal and groom them off give a good bath , treat for mites and fleas and worm her to be safe.(mites sometime live under little sores and if she has been living in a stables mites are possibility.

Hi , I've seen this a few times with this breed , ask your vet to give you Malaseb  (I think thats how you spell it!) shampoo , bath once a week for a month and her skin and coat will be greatly improved.

Not sure from your description exactly what they are but, as a breed, Dogues can be prone to the odd skin problem. You can try giving her liquidised raw spinach, that's good for skin and coat. I mix mine with some liquidised carrot or pear as my Dogues seem to eat it better that way. And you could try giving her a coat supplement like Quistel Omega 3. A teaspoonful a day should help.

Also as has been suggested, you could give her a bath, perhaps in something like Hibiscrub. I actually use Mediscrub these days from our vets as it's less drying but still antibacterial. It might help calm her skin down.

Good luck with your Dogue. They are very addictive and you may find that one is not enough ... :-)
