I am doing an assignment for my degree and we have to give a seminar on an ethical issue in the animal industry.
We have to give it un-biased and I chose cosmetic surgery in pets..
I was wondering if there are any studies out there that have shown an increase in tail injuries?
Or if people carry out ear cropping illegally in the UK??
Thanks in advance!

Have a look on The Council For Docked Breeds website, interesting info from here and abroad, especially about tail damage to traditionally docked dogs.

Council of docked breeds website, but i don't think it's been updated much since the ban, i suppose there aren't as many members as there use to be.

Might also be worth contacting vets at random and asking have they seen an increase?
Hope it goes well for you :-)

I know a few HPR breed clubs have been keeping data on tail injuries since the docking ban. Try the GSP club.

Met the owner at the vets of a Cocker spaniel which has had to have a bit off its tail at a time.

He was bought undocked before the ban as the owner thought docking was cruel.

She told me she wished he had been docked it would have saved all the pain for the dog and expense for her.
