what experience has anyone got with ovulation pads?  I have got some in to try with my bitch that has just come into season and was wondering what breeders thought of them

I wouldn't use them over progesterone testing for sure but it would be great if they were 100% because my bitches get stressy at the vets with all the needles.

I have used them, along with a few others on here.  Might just as well have used lollipop sticks for all the good they were.  Wish I hadn't bothered, they were a waste of money, and not reliable.

I've used them, at the same time as the saliva tests, had two different results, saliva tests have so far been 100% spot on for us, so I'll stick to that in the future.  also the sticks are quite sharp on the edges.

I have recently used them on 2 litter sisters who came into season together. The bitch I wasnt mating got positive results on day 10, 11, and 12 but the bitch I was mating (typical) got positive results from day 8 to 19. She was mated on day 12 and Im waiting to see if she's pregnant.

I also used the saliva testing which has been reliable in the past and got the same results (ferning for 12+ days). Hopefully she's just really fertile LOL!!

This is my first experience of using them so cant comment on how reliable i think they are............only time will tell in my case!!
I did find them easy to use.

We've used them in the past and won't be buying any more, if you use them be very careful as the edges are very sharp.

Ive heard alot about these saliva tests, and how good they are but i cant find any to buy, do you have any idea where i could purchase one?
i mated my bitch 13days ago an would love to try this test and see if it works,
all help would be great.
