my bitch was mated on saturday and since sunday seems to have little control over her bladder, she has been place on a course of noroclav and her pee appears normal in colour and smell, shes frequently peeing indoors even with the back door open which is highly unlike her,she is happy in herself,has no temperature nor is she off her food or colour? has anyone ever had similar with any of there bitches as ive never had this before many thanks in advance

I would not be too worried .Bitches tend to widdle in abundance whilst in season,just part of Nature and Breeding

If she were my bitch, tbh I would take her back if she doesn't improve after 4 or 5 days.  I'd take a sample with me too  because depending what bug is causing the possible infection, it may not respond to those particular antibiotics and she may just need a different set of tablets.

We recently had a AI mating, done cervically, and we had a course of Synulox tablets from the vet just incase she had any problems after the proceedure.

I would have her checked if you are worried but it is probably just her leaving her scent around for the boys.

Even without the mating, my bitches always widdle more when in season.  I find it perfectly normal.

Have to agree with JeanSW my girls always wee more when in season.

thanks ladies for your replies i shall see how she is over the next few days then if no better maybe a repeat visit to get  a stronger course of ab's
