Hi does anyone out there know how to get rid of acrid smoke smells??? my other half decided to defrost a scone in the microwave and put it on too long reducing it to a hard burnt lump the house was full of acrid smoke and it absolutely stinks now.  Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Theres always room on the sofa for another ......

they say cut a onion in half for paint smells so dont know if that would work

Bicarb absorbs smells - not sure about smoke though.

Fresh air! open every window and door for as long as you can and it should move fairly quickly!
