hi.i am a little worried about my pug George, until a couple days ago he would have a bowel movement twice a day.He s now having up to five a day. The stools are wetter than normal but hold together and are not watery and runny. He is very happy in himself and has no other symptoms. We have not changed his diet. If anyone can give me any advice i would be very grateful, George has so many health problems, any thing new causes a great deal of stress for our family as we are scared that something else is going wrong. Oh and he is drinking water to replace wat is coming out
many thanks
joanne and George

Have you upped the amount of food he's having? given him a different type of treat? I find if I feed even slightly too much, the poos are softer and more of them!

If George seems fine in every other way, maybe just a call to your vet will put your mind at ease - after all, he knows all the health issues with George. xx

When I first got Louis, he had mucus and blood - lots of it. He was diagnosed with colitis and was given probiotics to add to his feed, anti b injection and tablets. It didn't quite stop til I changed his food to Nature Diet - cleared up in 2 days!!!

With George's other problems, it may not be this, so yes, a trip to the vet is on the cards. Good luck - hope George is better soon! :-)
