I know this is probably the daftest question that has been asked but when do you apply for Crufts? We have only been showing for about 10 months our bitch has qualified many times, I do know that you have to put in the show that you first qualified etc but don't actually know when to apply. I presume its after Christmas what sort of time should I be looking?

Oh and how much should I be saving for entry fee's?

Crufts entries will be on Fossedata shortly and last year the entry fee was £20.

Just to add to satincollie -apart from the actual entry fee you need to  pay for the car parking and the catalogue as well (not cheap at Crufts), and if you bring a second person then another pass. All of this is at reduced cost at time of entry. The schedule should be online very soon but you can also contact the KC and request a schedule to be posted to you. All exhibitors from the previous year will get a schedule automatically.

Do you have to buy extra tickets for the children if they are coming or do you get so many extra passes?
I have gone every year since I was 18 but this is my first year showing there

You get a pass for each dog entered, so if there are more people coming than dogs you need to buy the extra entry tickets, including children's.

This sounds expensive, if we enter the dog, pay parking, shedual, and entry for 4 people. Oh well save the penny's in advance, infact that's not even shopping money (which is a must) :-)

You don't have to buy a schedule.  If there's a member who is disabled travelling with you and they have a blue badge then of course you don't have to pay to park your car.
If I wanted a Poodle, OES, TT or IWS I would have bought one. SWD's shd. be natural and rustic. No

I think last entries are around early January. You can buy a schedule on arrival may be a little extra , you can also buy entry tickets on the day, its just that you save a little when bought with entry fee but if you want to spread the cost just enter show and car park, also if you want a drop off pass that is bought seperately through the post and you wont need a car park ticket as it is included in the price.

If children are members of the Young Kennel Club, they get free passes for Crufts.  Might even be worth them joining YKC at £12 per year!

think she meant catalogue.

YKC also gets kids into Discover Dogs as well but they have to apply for tickets this year for the first time, not just show their badge, although under 12's are free.  Not sure what age you have to start paying for them at Crufts (i try to leave mine at home :-p)#
