It has always been in the back of my mind that he had done it and was walking free and I was walking my girls on my own many times around where it happened. Thanks goodness he will hopefully be put away for good. It is really weird thinking we know an alleged murderer !

Thanks goodness for the double jeopardy law !

I find the whole things needs a big reveiw on why he was never convicted in the first place and was allowed to walk free. He was a very peculiar man who we have met on quite a few occasions :-(

Thank goodness they have found him, you must be relieved.  We are in a similar situation with an unsolved murder where I walk my dogs, a lady walking with her dog was murdered, there have been one or two arrests but nobody has ever been charged.  This was also about 12-14 years ago!

Thank goodness for advances in Forensics.  It's extremely fortunate that he didn't kill again.

Yes considering he was well known for doing odd jobs around here and and also worked in the local pub for a while.

I didn't realise that one of the walks I used to go on quite a lot was very near to where it all happened.
