I am so,so sorry to hear of your loss.It brings such heart ache.We lost a young pup at 9 months old in the summer,and even though we have such happy memories of our special girl,not a day goes by with out thinking of her.My thoughts are with you.

Not that this is the time, but are the vets sure that there was nothing else wrong with the poor eating etc, maybe some neurological problem from birth etc?

His eating wasnt a problem, he was perfect weight- he ate a decent amount, just throughout the day- little and often-just his preference.
He was fit, healthy and normal and never visited the vets for anything other than routine things.
