I have asked this before, but have tried all the ones given to me last time :-)
Due to a double booking by the Sports Connexion :-( , we are looking for an indoor venue for our Championship Show next year. It needs to be as central as possible (Midlands area) and be able to accomodate 100 + dogs and also have parking facilities.
We have already tried Tomlinsons and they too are booked.  The new KC building at Stoneleigh wants nearly £1000, so we are looking to see if there is anything a little cheaper. It will be in November, hence the need to be indoors.

Many Thanks :-)

Can you not use the Lutterworth Sports Centre that NASA are using next weekend?  That's not far from Birmingham, or is that one you've already tried?

Have you thought of Great Barr Sports Centre Great Barr Birmingham.
We hold our Ch shows there, loads of parking, you can do your own catering though no kitchen
so take it with you.
A few open shows hold their shows there too.
An empty vessel makes the most noise. :-)

Lutterworth isn't an option :-( and I have just e-mailed Great Barr...
Thanks... :-)
If anyone knows of any more, I would be very grateful.

We have held the Midland Eng Setter champ show at the Ken Marriott Leisure Centre in Rugby, usually in January and it was quite resonable in cost (£800 I think) there is catering for exhibitors and they can provide judges meals also. Parking is good and its easy to find. People seem to like the venue and we have been there for the past 3 years.

Might be too far but a nice venue used by Stourbridge & District for their show is Perdiswell Sports centre at Worcester.  It's got good motorway link being just off the M5.

Or what about the Three Counties showground at Malvern.  They seem to be able to cater for multiple shows on the same day..  Again just off the M5

Three counties at malvern is in excess of £2000 per day !!

Good grief, amazed soo many shows held there then! sometimes we've been there and there have been 3 dog shows and a horse show on various parts of the grounds.... Off to investigate buying a disused airfield and a few old hangers.... sounds a good earner

Thats just for one bay, i thnk you will find fewer open shows there in the future, im afraid they are outpricing themselves

Thank you to everyone for their input.... the more the better.
I will chase all these up tomorrow... :-)
Can't believe the price of the Three Counties one... although we did ask Stafford Showground and they only had the Sandylands Hall available and they wanted £1000 + vat..... !!
More popular breeds with massive entries might be able to afford it, but with flying in an Overseas judge as well, we are trying to keep costs to a minimum...
Thanks again,
