As title really? has anyone used it and could you let me know if it was ok please?
Thanks

If it's the .com site, I've not used them, but I wouldn't recommend buying online from a site which doesn't have an address and phone number on it. When you try to checkout it says they are unable to receive payments.

Hmm, I know, that's what worried me!
I already ordered from them and guess what? nothing arrived.
My hubby always says if it looks too good to be true it probably is. I really ought to learn.
Hope paypal can get my money back.
Anyone know anywhere else you can get frontline cheaper?

I don't know what you would expect to pay for Frontline in the UK, but I use http://www.medicanimal.com/index.  It works out considerably cheaper for me than paying Spanish prices.

Just to let you know there is now a new product called effipro which is exactly the same as frontline (same active ingredient, diferent carrier) but is cheaper and is sold in packs of 4. Might be worth looking into. At the vets i work at we are stopping using frontline as it doesn't seem to be as effective as it used to and changing to effipro.

It looks like Paypal might have put a block on their account. if goods haven't arrived I would think you are covered but I don't use paypal personally. They do mention the postal strike, so might just be delayed.

If effipro is exactly the same as frontline lucyandmeg, what is the point of your vets changing from frontline to effipro?
One Golden is never enough! One Dobermann is more than enough!

I use chemistdirect.co.uk - they sell pet and human meds cheaper than Boots and other shops.
Not sure whether they are the cheapest but they seem very reliable.

Effipro is only effective against ticks for 2 weeks though so you would be giving 2 treatments of Effipro compared to one treatment of Frontline to prevent ticks - probably works out a lot more expensive!
3 litters of Munsters = 3 Sh.Ch's & 3 RCC winners! Not bad eh?

Both contain fipronil so fundamentally its the same product (frontline only does ticks fully for 2 weeks too) but has a different carrier which they say last longer on the dog (i.e. if they get wet etc.) The reason we are changing is because its cheaper for our clients and you get more for your money!
Interestingly both packs state that they cover ticks for a month so exactly the same, but cheaper.

Hi, with any online site you must be very careful where you buy, some products can land you in trouble with customs and excise, if you buy from a web site and the company is based overseas. You could end up with a criminal record!

Thanks for that tip Lucyandmeg.  I will try Effipro when our current stock of Frontline has gone.  The price is a lot cheaper.  I love competition when it works in our favour.

I used Frontline for years but recently Effipro came out.  I've now switched to this and it works great.  The best place by far to buy either Effipro or Frontline is www.vetuk.co.uk - I'm surprised no one on here has mentioned this site sooner.  Cheaper than all of the above! (And they always seem to have a 5% reduction on Frontline!) - would recommend this site for everything in actual fact!
