OK guys, assuming I am a PC idiot, in short words can somebody tell me how to save a webpage to my favourites on Google Chrome please?

once you've got the page you want click on the little star that comes up just before where the web address starts.  another box will appear where you can edit the name and location of the favourite.

Is Google chrome any better then the normal one?  If so, in what way.

I am undecided whether or not to download it.

I prefer it (now I can work it!) that said my previous Google browser I have had for 6 plus years so I am probably not the best person to ask.
