Teddy has taken to peeing in the house all of sudden so i am going back to basics with him but need to get rid of the smell asap.  I have wooden floorboards and the smell is a devil to get rid of - any advice?  I have been using the stuff from Pets At Home but it's £7 a bottle and doesn't last very long.  Is there anything i can get online?  Any advice for same thing outside?  He's taken to weeing up the guinea-pig hutch and the smell wafts into the kitchen when i have the back door open......many thanks.

Bicarbonate of soda, sprinkled liberally is usually best for nasty smells, leave overnight and sweep/hoover next day.

Outside: keep a watering can handy and rinse the area he pees on.  I sometimes have to do this on our garage (although I can't see the appeal of peeing on this) and also on a couple of plants my boy would otherwise kill !!

I use Odour Fresh from KenSmith canine. Brilliant stuff, a range of scents, you can use it on almost everything, and its cheap at £12 for 5 litres.
