Hi all,
Does anyone know where i can get any lightweight training mats for ringcraft. I've searched the web for hours and can't find any, it's driving me crazy. Any help appreciated.
Kerry
I ant be of any help but will be watching the post with interest as the ones we use at training are so darn heavy!!!!

I will also be looking with interest. Unfortunately at our ringcraft most of the people involved are of an age where they shouldn't be moving large heavy mats. I used to pick them up etc but now due to my back am unable to.
My dogs aren't my whole life, but my life wouldn't be whole without them. 05/01/08 11 stone 12 lbs

I got mine from Fenner - Dunlop. A couple of years ago now but the phone number then was 01482 781234. They are the white ones and very light.
Our breed club bought some black light weight rubber mesh type, a few years back & I can reccommend them, will look to see if I can find there company/number & get back to you.

love me love the dogs
Thanks you're a star, I'll phone them tomorrow

How about trying the non slip mats that are used on the dash of cars? you can get quite big bits and they are waterproof as they are made for cups
Got to love the slobber!
Sorry it is such a late reply, but I have not logged on for a while. However Lightweight mats can be obtained from Carter & Son 0118 959 9022. If you have any problem contacting them pm me & I will give you their address. The mats are green can be cut to size for you, I have 10 metre rolls 1.1 metre wide, they are used all the time at ringcraft & shows, have had them since 2002 & still going strong
Thanks for all your replies. Got some ordered from Carter & Son.
Thanks again
Kerry
Can I be cheeky and ask if they are really expensive? and if anyone has pictures they could email me? we havea wooden floor in our training hall and although mot dogs are fine the rough collies seem to hate it.
Thanks
