Wanted Puppy pen must be in good condition.

( Don't panick no pups just for shows and whilst grooming one at a time)

Hi Pam, I got my puppy pen from Croft and it was only about £30, o.k. this was a few years ago, also a lot of shows do not allow puppy pens, I know our club show does not allow them they state this in the catalogue, i.e. no pens allowed. they take up a lot of space at a show you are better with the cages and grooming table, I only use mine if I have puppies, at the moment ive got it attached on to a cage for the new puppy so she has an open cage with a run, just to keep Cookie away from her.

Hi Irene,

I did think that also about the shows but it seems to be the ones inside which don't allow because of space..but I have seen them at nearly every outdoor open show so quite fancy one..

SKC was far too hot for dogs in cages..IMHO..only. I did not like having mine in their boxes or cages..

I have priced around they seem to be cheapestr £50-60 now so I thought if I picked one up cheaper and I only used it for outdoors then that would be fine.

I remember at the champ show WHWT club when I picked up Holly they were not allowed them inside but people had them out at the door..

My other thought was my 2 have a nice run etc but they do not like peeing in it so thought I would try and train them to the same bit of the grass , I may put the pen their so I know which bit I am using till they are used to it and likewise me.

My poor lawn is looking a bit beaten..

How is the new pup Irene?
