Now that is rather good compared to how low our entries have been this year. 

Does help that the judge hasn't judge the breed since Bath 2004 when she gave my Jozi (now 10) the CC and my now 6 year Puppy bitch, but not Best puppy

This means that all the adults she judged then are now oldies and the young stock fully mature heading to veteran status, so no-one is thinking 'Oh she didn't like my dog last time'.

This is the problem in a breed like ours where dogs showing life is likely to be up to 10 years (and it is numerically small too) when judges officiate too often, with the credit crunch people choose much more carefully who to show under.

Mind you that is still not a high entry for such a favourite show.  Everyone loves LKA, more than Crufts, it is the Christmas show, you do your doggy Christmas shopping, and best of all it is geared towards the exhibitors not a circus like Crufts where the dogs and exhibitors (who make the show) seem to get less consideration.
