I have just got Inka's third CC certificate, Her Champions Certificate and the Breeders diploma for breeding a champion.

Now all three are not particularly attractive.

Considering how difficult it is to make up a UK champion compared to any other country in the World surely they could do better.

I have two breeders certificates for two Irish champions and they are A3, with interesting artwork on them, quite something even if not your particular taste.  Even the Irish registration certificates are attractive with embossed writing etc.

Now Dean is so excited and wants to get all three (JW one too) framed, but they are so dull.

What do other people think?

Just looked on the AKC site http://www.akc.org/events/title_certs/pages/breeders_CH.cfm and theirs are pretty much like ours, and you have to pay for them :-(

The American one is worse in the flesh . I was suprised when I saw it.  They are both probably of equal " boring" status.

I think they could splash out of something a bit more " flashy" eh..

I think they are ok, they state what they are for & no more.

In cats, titles aren't sent out automatically you have to put your title claim into the GCCF and then you used to get a medal.   But because the GCCF is in financial dire straits I think they are planning to only send medals if you pay for them but don't quote me!

But considering how much time effort and money it takes to campaign a dog to it's UK title would be nice to have something better.

In fact I actually prefer the CC cards you get at the show compared to the one the KC send to confirm it.

So do I but I think it's because the judge signs them & they are what is awarded on the day, more personal to you.  I used to like it when you got free frames from Pedigree for your Champion certificate!

My CC cert arrived today.  JW was on the title which was nice :-)

Just glad to have it regardless.. :-)

Actually it was really strange as the Driffield CC said Ch and JW, but she didn't get the JW until after SWKA!

Ohh my CC certifcate arrived in the post yesterday aswell, they must post them out in a batches. I was very excited as this is my first but I do agree with Brainless in my breed competition is so tough with large entries so to win a CC is a big achievement and I it would be nice to get a more fancy certificate, I have already framed his green and white one. :-)

That is half the point though all the certs are the same, the CC's, and Ch cert,  the Stud book one is slighlty different but the same as the JW.

Must say I was impressed by the IKC champion diploma and the registration certificates (urs ae abysmal, with all the advertising encroaching on 1/3rd )

That is half the point though all the certs are the same, the CC's, and Ch cert,    They are eve the same type as the seminar certificates also..   The only thing that is not green or the same look is the BOB card :-)

Time for a redesign Barbara ..Do you think they would go for a certificate make over by the CD team :-D
By Brainless (*****) [gb] Date 13.11.09 18:44 GMT
Maybe they should run a competition?  £1 an entry, fees to go to the KC health trust?

New design for nice registration certificates with room for the eye testing stamps etc, in a nice clear font, nice illustrations.

A different one for stud book, CC, Ch and JW ShCM certificates.  Maybe different colours from Green for CC's, Blue for Stud Book numbers, say Pink for JW's Orange for ShCM and Red for champs.

See now how does one make suggestions to the KC????

Agreed, I framed the first 3 of these (in one frame) each of my champions got rather than the boring old typed ones.
