i have been told that if you give focli acid to a bitch while she in season untill the end of season,and mate while she on this tablets it help with the felilty side of things.
someone i know told me this her bitch didnt get into whelp then gave her fa she went on to have 6 puppies for her breed that was a lot.terrier type of breed,

i thought that fa was to help to stop defeacts in humans baby.

Folic acid is mentioned on the above link as being an aid to canine fertility. Interesting. I wonder how much is the recommended dose and does it vary according to breed size ?

I use vitE capsules on my girls  give it to them when they come into season makes them very fertile and all through pregnancy helps to make healthy pups.

Tried it years ago and ended up with a small litter and difficult birth.

Though saying that I've just had a litter of two this morning, going to have a lot of disappointed people.  Only advised two of the prospective owners that sadly they won't be havig one!

I have a bitch that has missed twice, has now been mated again for the third time, we have everything crossed.

Yeah she's missed once LoisLane, fingers crossed it works this time. 

well bought the fa tablets,just need to sort which dog to use and res dog just in case.

I was led to beleive it is taken to prevent nural tube defects, and especially cleft palates, it is Vitamin E that is cvonsidered an aid to fertility.
