Hi guys

Im sick of taking my shih tzu to different groomers (as I havent found one yet that does a good job or what I ask)  Last time I took her I asked for a teddy bear cut/puppy cut and they scalped her down to a grade 1 all over!!

I was wonderin if anyone had a good picture of a puppy cut or teddy bear cut which I could maybe take into this new groomers and show exactley what i wanted to achieve.  Its so annoying when you grow the hair knot free for them to shave it off! aghhhh lol

Hope someone can help

Mx

Ask them to scissor her 2" inches all over rather than put clippers on her.  That'll sort out the groomers from the sheep shearers! :-)  But she'll need to be knot free or that'll be their excuse for clippping her off. :-(
Anyone can run clippers over a dog but it takes skill to do the job just with scissors! :-)

mine uses scissors and does a teddy bear cut which is quite long but short enough to be easily looked after and he looks sooo sweet afterwards.

Interesting eh? :-)

I used to have people regularly driving a 150 mile round trip (and occassionally more!) every 8 weeks because they didn't want their dogs shaved to within an inch of their lives! :-(
