I think this is it, she has made herself comfortable in her box with the pups and curled up around them. I cleaned up a bit and checked the pups (one of each :-) ). She is now her old self again around me and lets me handle the pups without stressing. She seems to know what she is doing and licks them etc.

Umm 4 is a large litter from Pom, so doubt that she is fully a Pom.  Look forward to hearing how they get on.
If I wanted a Poodle, OES, TT or IWS I would have bought one. SWD's shd. be natural and rustic. No

I weighed them when they were 24 hours old.

Bitch pup: 162g
Boy pup1:   180g
Boy pup2:   182g
Boy pup3:   200g

They are all thriving. My apologies to Admin for putting in the links to the pics, I didn't know, sorry.

What are those weights in ozs?  A true Pomeranian is around 2 to 3 ozs when born.

200gm = 7oz.  162gm = 5.7oz
I've had small Rough Collie pups born that size.

I've googled a few Kleinspitz sites and it appears that the pups have normal weight for that breed :-).

This thread keeps reminding me of a woman at dog training with a pom that she took to the groomers.  the groomer clipped the whole dog apart from the tail despite the woman saying she wanted a trim!  It now looks like a red squirrell.
The artist formerly known as cheekychow! - with a staffy and a rottie not a chow, but very cheeky!
