Ok, so how does everyone make them????
I am coming down with a cold, so just making one.
A few tots of whiskey,
Squirt of lemon juice,
teaspoon of honey
topped up with hot water.

Whats everyone elses recipe???

Rum and Shrub, topped up with hot water. Yum!

I don't drink whisky so my lemon drink is 2 mugs of water in a pan with a chopped up lemon . Leave to simmer for 5 minutes or more . Then have 1 mug with sugar to taste , and there's another mug for later !
I don't like Lemsip type drinks as i prefer the above drink with 2 paracetamol .

If I have a cold I put the juice of two oranges and two lemons in a mug top with boiling water and add a tablespoon of honey.

Same as you..................but add a dried clove!

Plus at sleepy time hot milk & whiskey I can make a cold last a whole bottle.

i go regular to the local War Musuem to buy my Aniseed Balls and here they have it in a bottle Heaven xx

My Grandma used to make a sort of hot toddy by adding a generous slug of whiskey to hot lemonade.  I was never keen on hot lemondae anyway, with the addition of Whiskey I hated it, but was made to drink the Hot Lemonde/whiskey mix at the first signs of a sniffle.
