I've never heard them, all that I heard when I placed them over where the pups were was like gurgling water.
If I wanted a Poodle, OES, TT or IWS I would have bought one. SWD's shd. be natural and rustic. No

i use a stethascope and could hear heart beats at just before 8 weeks.i love it.it obviously doesnt give you numbers but its lovely to hear the pups in there.my bitch will happily roll ovr and "show me" her belly.

................I had a one for my bitch and once you get the hang its brilliant! You have to get past hearing all the swishing and gurgling noises from the bitch but once you do and you hear a tiny heartbeat you will be fit to burst with joy! I couldnt hear anything before 7 weeks though and was getting slightly paranoid. ;-(

Great fun and I will definately do it again for my next litter!
No matter how little money and how few possessions you own, having a dog makes you rich.
