Does anyone have experience of working with a behaviourist they would recommend in the Lancashire/North Yorkshire area? I looked on the ABPC website but there doesn't seem to be anyone in my vicinity.
OK, so the cream carpets were a bad idea

Not a behaviourist as such, but I can recommend Lynda Edmondson. She does do 1 to 1's and IMHO is one of the most talented trainers I have ever seen. I am sure if you gave her a call she would give you an honest answer as whether she could help you, if indeed she covers your area. I did watch her classes for a while whilst my friend attended with her pup and I was so impressed. When she was assessed for membership of the APDT, Val Fisher awarded her 100% for the first time ever. Take a look at her website www.dogfriendlytraining.net.

thanks Starryeyes, i had seen Guy's website but this is a round trip of 125 miles and the barker is a very poor traveller, so am hoping we can find someone closer in the Manchester/Bradford/Preston area if possible.
