Could anybody help me please, my border collie bitch has dermatitis on her lip, I have taken her to my vet however he said because she is in whelp  (2 weeks hopefully) it would be too dangerous to prescibe anything. So I was wondering if anyone knows of any safe remedy.  She has not suffered with this previously.

How about aloe?

Vaseline applied to her lips may help as it will moisturise and help to stop them cracking or you could ask your vet about Diprobase cream which my vet gave me along side the steroid  treatment which your girl can't have when my boy had this earlier in the year.
