This boy I bred and sold to a good friend of mine was tragically lost in a ferocious house fire leaving an enormous hole in my friends & kids life. Not only did they loose their lovely boy but every possesion they owned apert from the car, Floyd's mate Raz, the cat and the clothes the family were wearing.
Words cannot describe how they must feel.

1 Newf, 2 Newf, 3 Newf, More ????

That is truly tragic -the poor, poor family. Hugs to all of you.
Marianne. Dogs are not our whole lives, there are cats too!

so sorry to hear of the loss. Such a tragic way to loose a loved pet. My thoughts are with them at this horrible time.
Sweet Mira, rest in peace.

Please give them our kindest thoughts. We know just what it's like - we lost two pups when our house was gutted by fire 18 months ago - like them - we had only the clothes we stood up in. Fortunately our big dogs survived.
I still hear those pups......
Jo

So sad, having had a fire this year I thank God for how lucky we were............
Run free Floyd, cyber hugs for the family.
Karen

How sad.
RIP Floyd and Raz.
The hurrier I go - the behinder I get!

Luckily the family were out of the house at the time & the neigbours kicked the door in to try & rescue the dogs. Raz made it but Floyd was in the kitchen and this is where the fire started. They think he may have turned the gas on somehow.
5 boxers is quite enough !!
Very sad

What a terrible tragedy.
A closed mouth gathers no feet
Poor poor family. What an awful tragedy for them. I had a dog that used to turn the gas taps on. Its so very easily done.

So very sad.

Run Free Sadie our wondeful lady

A terrible tragedy

This is one of the ways of pets passing that horrifies and scares me.
I really can't imagine what they are feeling right now, with not only their beloved dog but also their home too.
My thoughts are with the family right now..
RIP Floyd xxx
Poor Floyd , Run free at the bridge.

Very very sad and tragic. xxx

so sorry to hear this, very sad.
"Cat's motto: No matter what you've done wrong, always try to make it look like the dog did it."
How awful, such an sad way to lose any pet.
One of our dogs started to turn the gas on so we had to take all the knobs off the oven. i can't imagine how we'd feel if we weren't lucky enough to have a warning to make us more aware.
RIP xxx
