You'll think i'm nuts but so long since i had a puppy. 7 month old Westie has a swollen vulva. Im wondering if its a sign of a urine infection. She doesnt seem to be passing urine any more frequently but wondered if because of the deep snow shes got a chill. Is a swollen vulva a sign of a urine infection

It's more likely she's coming into season ...

The vulva usually starts to swell some time before the bleeding starts. Each morning  (or when she gets up from a sleep) dab her vulva with a clean white tissue. The first time you see a pink stain is the first day of her season.

Sounds like the start of her season, some bitches don't lose any discharge and just swell.
