hi my staff pup is now 14 wks old + i have just noticed she is loseing hair around her eye. She is fine in herself + she has not scrached it or anythin, it doesn't bother her at all. I changed her food about 3 wks ago + wonder if its anything to do with that?????????

no she is not scratching it at all! i changed her food because when i had her the bloke she came from was feeding all the pups on adult dry food not puppy which i thought was way to strong for her

My vet told me Staffs are one of the breeds that are prone to Demodectic mange as pups with symptons being thinning hair around the eyes and on top of head,many self heal without further symptoms but it is worth a trip to the vets to check it out.Advocate spot on is one of the medications recomended if you do need any treatment.
