Do you ever have days where your dog's behaviour seems to come from nowhere?

In the space of 24 hours my rott boy has gone from ignoring traffic to attempting to chase a lorry, a bus and a gritter.  By tonight any car that went past seemed to incite him to try to launch himself at it.  Weird!  If he had been off lead he would have been under the wheels, crazy hound.

My staffy has the occassional day where she decides she likes dogs and makes a mockery of me advising others that she may/will snap at their dog as she flirts like a prize tramp.  She then morphs back into a grumbling monster by the next day.  If only I could read their minds.

I have noticed in the past that some of my dogs have acted very weird when its been a full moon! ( I can hear the LOL's coming from all directions now!!) sounds bizarre but it has happened a few times when one of mine has done something out of the blue.
Who cares about a few dog hairs!

My son has just been telling me about the puppy going completely nuts with a sock, turning somersaults and launching himself across the room at it. He can be fairly acrobatic, but for my son to take any notice his antics must have been spectacular ;-)
OK, so the cream carpets were a bad idea

a nuetered dog... I do suffer terrible PMT and he is very in tune with me, so probably picking up the mood swing, but yes he can really mess me about!

Ah well..... if you asked the opinion of a Certain Mainstream tv trainer... the answer would likely be: "The dog is sensing weakness in you and is trying to take over....."

The truth might be more like: "The dog is sensing you have suddenly morphed into an Uber Power PMT Bitch and is scared to death you're gonna mullah him."

Poor CM.
He'll never know the agonies and ecstasies of PMS. *giggle*
Acquiring a dog may be the only opportunity a human ever has to choose a relative.
