Was tempted to buy a pair the other day, even went as far as filling the prescription form in, then changed my mind, whats your thoughts?

Can't say I'd fancy it. Who would alter them if they weren't right etc ?. Would you be able to try frames on beforehand to see if they suited ?.

I buy frames online - they are much cheaper - and then have the lenses fitted locally.  I try on frames in the opticians beforehand, take a note of the style numbers of th eones that I like and then look them up online.

I have had some from Glasses Direct and have had no problems. They were recommended to me by a friend who regularly uses them.
