I can recommend Idexx lovely folk send kits out promptly, you get the bloods drawn at vets send via Special delivery recieve a phone call as soon as the lab has tested, the guy who rings is great tells you what numbers your girl is at and advises when to either mate or retest if too early.

The vets have one but I couldn't recommend it, I sent Idexx kits to a friend but their vet persuaded them that the in house premate test was just as good and done on site - the bitch missed as expected, you could see she wasn't ready but they weren't prepared to leave her with the stud dog due to the bad snow at the time.

so how long from going to vets and getting back result and if bitch not ready i presume you have to keep doing it till test is right and how much does it work out at please

If you send the blood via special delivery ie guaranteed delivery before 1pm next day, you will get a response the following day, generally you've got a 4 day ovulation window and he calls mobile as well as landlines.

For my last girl it worked out with vet fee's postage etc about £32 per test.
